Callaghan Innovation's new Māori cultural learning application is now available as an interactive digital book. It has been designed for internal use for Callaghan Innovation staff and includes touch to play common mihimihi, pepeha, whakataukī, and waiata. You can also record yourself whilst practising in the privacy of your own home with friends or family. Experience our own haka, ‘Rukuhia’ and hear and read about important Māori values and principles such as whanaungatanga and manaakitanga, which can make a huge difference in the quality of your engagement.
Read, listen to, and practise common greetings and farewells and familiarise yourself with some common do’s and don’ts when visiting a marae.
